Album features 1970s-era stereo re-makes by the original group of many of their best-known hits. Arrangements and instrumentation can vary from the original versions. For example, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, which opens the album, features the sisters singing over a saxophone section in place of the more familiar bugle/trumpet, although the expected growling trumpet is heard later on Rum and Coca Cola.
