45 -  Funky Sisters - Do It To It / Soul Woman  (Auroro 165)  R&B / Northern Soul / R&B / Mad Mike.  The Side One vinyl looks VG- and plays VG.  Side Two looks VG and plays VG+.  LISTEN. 

Some of the older records in this auction listing came from an individual in the Pittsburgh area who told me they came from a local DJ.  I wasn't smart enough at the time to ask for more info beyond that.  Upon listening and looking at some of the labels, it has become obvious to me that these 45s may have belonged (and probably did belong) to legendary Pittsburgh DJ Mad Mike Metrovich at one time.  Mad Mike was known for scratching out and hiding names and titles on his 45s so that rivals could not copy his unique sounds at his record hops and on his radio show.  Some of these 45s are an example of his secrecy.  This is a chance to own some Pittsburgh music history.  There are also 45s (the ones not in record company sleeves) in this listing that have clean labels with the titles not scratched out.  They came from the same source.

For listings that say LISTEN at the end, the sound clip has been recorded and posted without any filters being applied.  In other words, clicks, pops and other surface noises have not been removed.  This gives you an opportunity to hear whatever imperfections are present.  Also, I do not grade anything as Mint.  M- is my highest grade and an M- grade will often be Mint by the standards used by others.

Postage in the U.S. is $3.50 for Media Mail shipping.  I will combine multiple items to save on postage - each additional 45 will cost an extra 25 cents ($3.75 total for two, $4.00 total for three, etc.).

All records are in plain paper sleeves unless pictured in a company sleeve or picture sleeve.  All records are mailed between two pieces of cardboard placed inside a cardboard mailer made specifically for shipping records.
