This Rare LP is called The Grateful Dead and is the debut album of the Grateful Dead. It was released by Warner Bros. Records in 1967. The group picked David Hassinger to produce because he had worked as an engineer on the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow album, which Jerry Garcia had guested and suggested the album title. The album was considered "a big deal in San Francisco", but it did not see much airplay on AM radio stations outside of the Bay Area. This album features great songs like "The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion)", "Good Morning, Little School Girl"  , "Sitting on Top of the World" , "Cream Puff War" and "Viola Lee Blues" !

The Cover is in Very Good(shows wear, see pictures), The Vinyl is in Very Good Plus Condition on one side and Very Good on the other side(several light scratches), but still sounds real good!
