"FOLK FESTIVAL OF THE BLUES" Original 1963 Promo pressing featuring MUDDY WATERS, HOWLIN' WOLF, SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON, & BUDDY GUY (Argo Records LP white label promo 4031).
A landmark Blues LP recorded 'LIVE' in Chicago IL on June 26,1963 at the Copa Cabana Club. Besides Muddy recording live at Newport, none of these other artists had been recorded live before this historic LP. Helping out in the various bands are Otis Spann and Willie Dixon, who is also pictured in one of the photos on the LP cover with Muddy & Buddy Guy.
The heavy and glossy vinyl is in VG+ condition with only a few light marks and clean labels, plays great. The thick cover is in VG+ condition with no seam splitting or writing. Thanks for looking.
