Postage Note: We are a social enterprise that relies on volunteers to help us send orders out. Currently orders are normally processed over the weekend and are dispatched on a Monday, so please bear with us. Almost all of our orders are sent via courier, so the cost may be higher if your delivery address is not mainland UK. If you require a price for sending items to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands or Northern Ireland, please get in touch. Orders outside the UK may be available through eBay Global Shipping, though there may be some restrictions based on size and weight.
If possible, we prefer orders to be collected - especially for large, heavy or fragile items. This often means you can have your items more quickly. Most items can be collected from our East Leeds shop, which is open 7 days a week. Please ring us on 0113 273 1791 or email us before making a special trip.
Who are we? Revive Leeds is an award winning social enterprise that operates reuse shops on two Household Waste Recycling Sites in Leeds. We were also featured on the BBC One Show twice during 2018.
We accept donations directly at our shops as well as working together with recycling site staff to intercept quality used items that still have some life left in them. Items that we sell include clothing, books, DVDs, small electrical items, toys and homewares. Where does the money go? Revive Leeds is a partnership between two charities. The St Vincent De Paul Society is a charity working to alleviate poverty and SLATE is a charity that supports people with learning disabilities. All of our profits are used to fund their work within Leeds and the surrounding areas.
What are Revive Leeds aims and objectives? * To become the number 1 household waste site shop in England * To provide work and volunteering opportunities for people from socially excluded backgrounds and people with learning or other difficulties. * To reduce the amount of waste going to landfill * To educate the local community about reuse and recycling * To work with the Leeds Furniture Reuse Group, helping to alleviate poverty and hardship * To become financially sustainable
