Description 1972 Cymande debut album.  This gatefold vinyl LP released on Janus Records.  The jacket/cover is in Near Mint condition.  No inner sleeve.  The album is being graded as Excellent...no scratches, no smudges.  The album is being graded based upon visuals only.  It has NOT been play/sound graded.  Please study photos and my grading system below.  

M (mint) Sealed, since it is sealed the record is presumed mint. Sold AS IS -- sight unseen since sealed.

NM (near mint) Opened, the album shows nearly no signs of being played.

Jacket Cover: NM - The cover may have minor wear, but no bends, or creases or writing on it.

VG++ or /EX (excellent) There are a few light marks but the album has been well preserved.
Jacket Cover: VG++ or EX (excellent) The cover has a little bit more wear than NM.
 

VG+
The record may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches.
Jacket Cover: VG+ covers have minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom or top.  A VG+ cover may have some defacing, for example a name written on it. 

Very Good (VG)

VG records have more obvious imperfections than a VG+ record.   Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches that are deep enough to feel with a fingernail.
Jacket Cover: VG covers will show evident signs of being handled.   Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside. More creases visible and seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides. Someone might have written on it or there may be a price tag or other labeling on it. 

 

Fair

The record has  significant ring wear, heavy writing, or other obvious damage such as major scratches.
Jacket Cover:A Fair cover has very obvious ring wear, splitting seams, or major writing or scribbles.

Items will ship within 5 business days of receipt of payment.  Payment is expected within 3 days of close of the auction and if not received within 3 days an automatic unpaid item case is opened by eBay.  I understand that sometimes emergency situations arise, therefore, if there is a problem where you cannot remit payment within the 3 day time period, please at least contact me to let me know. If you have a problem with the sales transaction PLEASE contact me immediately so that we can resolve the problem prior to posting negative feedback or filing a claim with eBay.  

 

 

International Bidders - I will NOT mark as "Gift" or falsify the value for customs purposes. Please do NOT ask me to do this. I accept returns only on items that may have been inadvertently misrepresented in description.  Items must be returned within 14 days of buyer receipt.  Buyer must notify me immediately of intent to return the item. Please do not return the item without first giving me notice of your intentions!
