D.O.A - HARDCORE 81 - LIMITED HAND NUMBERED 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION - RARE IMPORT ALBUM.

Original Italian import album............acquired from a closed independent record shop who kindly sold me their small amount of left over punk related stock.....this is NEW and wasn't issued sealed, the store put it in a pvc sleeve and applied the sticker to the outside of the pvc sleeve.

The seminal hardcore album from the mighty D.O.A, re released in 2021 as a luxury 40th Anniversary edition with bonus tracks in a limited 500 hand numbered gatefold edition.

The mad energy captured by D.OA in the studio made this album a mainstay on my turntable as a snotty teen, it's an awesome album and it has to rank as one of THE BEST punk albums of all time.

Pressed on quality 140g vinyl with added single cuts make it an essential purchase, issued in a hand numbered gatefold sleeve but sadly the 12 page booklet wasn't included.

An unforeseen issue meant it hadn't come back from the printers, as this numbered edition simply had to be released on the 40th anniversary date the record was issued with just a sticker for the store to stick on explaining the booklet wasn't inside.

However the music is the most important thing and in this case that more than makes up for it......the classics SLUMLORD, UNKNOWN, SMASH THE STATE and 001 LOSERS CLUB sit well alongside DISCO SUCKS, THE PRISONER and F**KED UP RONNIE.

This is a high quality release and as I say was limited to just 500 hand numbered copies, this is number 424 of that 500

Further editions of this 40th anniversary release have been issued in various colours etc but this 'IS' one the original anniversary editions released on the actual 40th anniversary.

This is one D.O.A album you 'MUST' own, if you wanna know where Canadian Hardcore was born this is the seed it germinated from D.O.A were at its very inception and led the charge, testament to a truly revolutionary band and that's why Joey and the boys are still making great music to this day and are sounding even better than ever.
