1960s Mandolin Orch of Ukranian Youth Assn Detroit LP – Ukranian Folk Songs
Mandolin Orchestra of the Ukranian American Youth Ass’n ibn Detroit under the direction of Kyryko Cependa, Conductor with soloists, Chrystyna and Oleh Chmil - “Ukrainian Folk Songs” (Arka 1750). No date given but is stereo so after 1958 and appears locally pressed in East Detroit from information in runoff groove. Contents include: “De Zhodav Semeystvi”; “Misyats Na Nebi”; “Hey Tam Na Hory Sitch Ide”; “Na Hory Tam Zhenchi Zhnut”; Svityt Misyats”; “Bandura”; “Babyusa”; “Dyvlsya Na Nebo”; “Shumily Verby”; and “Luhamy Pisn.” Includes individual photos of all members of Orchestra on back cover. Record is in M- condition and cover is in VG+ condition (has the number “57” written on front and back covers.)
