Church of Misery is a Japanese doom metal band from Tokyo, formed in 1995. They meld early Black Sabbath-style doom with psychedelic rock.
Vol. 1 was originally recorded in 1996 but not officially released in any capacity until a decade later. These are the oldest Church Of Misery recordings.
