CHANNEL 3 - LIVE - GERMAN IMPORT ALBUM - RARE.

Fantastic Live album from one of the most overlooked and underated punk band's of all time.

Channel 3 were formed in 1980 by Mike Magrann (vocals, guitar), Kimm Gardner (guitar), Larry Kelly (bass), and Mike Burton (drums), in California, USA.

Their first release in 1981 was a self-titled EP on a small local Californian label, "Manzanar", a track from that EP, was played heavily by John Peel which brought the band to the attention of UK punks for the first time.

In 1982, their release 'Fear of Life' was retitled I’ve Got A Gun in the UK and featured on the UK compilation album Punk and Disorderly - Further Charges, it was definitely one of the albums stand out tracks, anybody who hasn't heard 'I've got a gun', have a listen, I tell you it's got one of the best punk intros of all time.

The saddest thing for the band is they never managed to reach a wider audience as they were so much better than the one hit wonders most people thought they were.

There are some amazing tracks on this album so give this a go, it's a real cracker of an album, this could also double up as a 'best of' as it is just that, it's crammed with their very best stuff there isn't a bad track on here, how many other bands can say that about their best of's.!

Absolute must have Punk album for any serious Punk rock record collector, it's a real stomper of an album, makes you realise what a damn fine band Channel 3 were, play this twice and you'll be singing along by the third play - ESSENTIAL.!
