Cover. This is the very earliest pressed cover which is front & back laminated with an unlaminated gatefold inner. It is printed by Ernest J Day with a fully legible wide spine. The sleeve has a few thumb creases and the usual corner bumps. The inner gatefold is EX with no marks no creases no loss but has the previous owners name written on it.
The cover of the 1969 album Ummagumma by Pink Floyd depicts a band member sitting, with a photo on the wall. The picture displays the same scene with another band member, and the effect continues for all four group members, with the image for the fourth being the cover of their earlier album "A Saucerful of Secrets".
Vinyl. The disc plays EX - VG+ with only a hint of crackle . Absolutely nothing serious. The disc plays with NO pops a few soft tics No clicks and certainly No repeats and NO jumps. There are hairlines. So to be safe I will grade as EX/VG+/EX /VG
Labels. They have "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD" text on the rim. Beware people trying to pass of discs with "EMI RECORDS" text as 1st pressings. THEY ARE NOT. The owners name written on one label on each record
Company promotional inners see photos.
The record plays with a lovely prog rock sound of the late 1960's recordings.
The vinyl plays as EX/VG+. (See below for definition) A couple of tracks have some minor background but all the other tracks play well. Overall a very good example that plays well with no loud pops no loud tics no repeats.
EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. There may be hairlines. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I have to say is nice player with great stereo audio. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
THIS IS AN VERY RESPECTABLE PLAYING ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF THIS LANDMARK ALBUM.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me.
