I am having a clear out of some of my art & prog rock records that I have accumulated over the years. I have owned these from new and most were bought when they first came out so will have first press matrix numbers.  Pink Floyd , Genesis etc  AS always i fully play test ALL of my records and don't guess as to how they sound.
FIRST PRESS

                                 The record plays through completely silently. There is no crackle,                                                       no hiss, no background, no tics , no clicks.
                                                      You will not find a better sounding copy.
                                              Light card quality, semi-matt clear varnish printed liner                                  with black & white half-tones of band members - with further comments                                     and production credits, in addition to those on album back cover.
                                  
Cover.   Laminated sleeve. EX+  for a 40 year old record. The original price sticker is still attached to the rear of the sleeve. The spine is straight and true with fully legible text and only minor wear. See photos. All the seams are strong, straight and true.  Comes with original picture sleeve inner in NM condition.
Vinyl.  This first pressing plays as NM / NM . 
The labels are unmarked and are in  AS NEW  condition.

The disc will be sent with a separate inner from the printed one to avoid any chance of splitting., Also included is a new plastic sleeve and  the record will be sent in a custom made cardboard sleeve.

EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. There may be hairlines. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I have to say is nice player with great stereo audio. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
THIS IS A SUPERB COPY OF AN ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF THIS LANDMARK ALBUM. 
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me.

NEAR MINT ~ visual inspection has revealed that the record plays noiselessly. If there are any surface marks these will be noted in the listing.  EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. VERY GOOD ~ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch.
