Bauhaus Swing The Heartache BBC Sessions rare white label from Night Moves club
Rare copy of Bauhaus test pressing (Swing the Heartache; BEGA 103; good (+) condition vinyl) from record collection of the Night Moves club located at 92 Sauchiehall Street, a famous shopping and entertainment street in Glasgow, Scotland. Night Moves was a unique music venue that was originally Victorian music hall theatre, five stories up on top of a tenement building. Reportedly, the club was severely damaged or destroyed in a tragic Sauchiehall Street fire in 2018.
According to Night Moves poster I found online & Bauhaus poster, Bauhaus played at Night Moves club on Oct 29,1981. Other notable bands that played at Night Moves: The Smiths, The Cult, Jesus & Mary Chain, Cocteau Twins, Tones on Tail, Modern English, Killing Joke, Mick Jones, Eurythmics, Primal Scream, Sisters of Mercy, Hanoi Rocks, Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers, Gene Loves Jezebel, and R.E.M.
