Kate Bush is one of the most eclectic and wonderful singers and songwriters of our era and needs to be celebrated and that's why I'm listing several of her LP's for Auction. This limited edition 180 Gram Double Vinyl LP is called The Red Shoes and is the seventh studio album by English musician Kate Bush. Released in 1993, it was accompanied by Bush's short film, The Line, the Cross and the Curve, and was her last album before a 12-year hiatus. The Red Shoes was inspired by the 1948 film of the same name and the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. It concerns a dancer, possessed by her art, who cannot take off the eponymous shoes and find peace. The album has some very emotional content, because Kate Bush had suffered a series of bereavements including the loss of her favoured guitarist, Alan Murphy, as well as her mother, Hannah, who died. Also Kate's long-term relationship with bassist Del Palmer had also ended. Many of the people she lost are honoured on the ballad "Moments of Pleasure", as well as director Michael Powell, with whom she had discussed working shortly before his death in 1990. This album features other great songs like "Rubberband Girl" , "And So Is Love" , "The Song of Solomon", Top of the City" and "Constellation of the Heart"!
The Cover is in Excellent Condition(see pictures), Both Vinyls are in Near Mint Condition(Looks Unplayed)!
