GENERATION X - DEMOS 1977 - IMPORT ALBUM.
Fantastic demos album from Generation X one of the best bands to pick up on the early punk DIY ethic and run with it, a vastly underated band in my opinion.
Led by Billy Idol one of the Bromley Contingent of early Sex Pistols fans who followed his own ideas, did his own thing and went his own way, along with Tony James they created an almost pop / rock equivalent of the Sex Pistols.
Generation X were a fantastic band and although their recorded legacy isn't huge their fondly remembered for their fantastic live shows which have now taken on almost legendary status, this classic demos album will take you back to a time when music really did matter and young punks thought that maybe they could change their world.
NOTE - This is now deleted and getting quite hard to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out.
An essential record that gives any decent rock record a run for it's money, raw fresh and exciting it's gotta be a part of any decent Generation X or punk rock record collection.
