THE CLASH - GIVE EM ENOUGH ROPE - RARE VINYL ALBUM - SLEEVE ERROR.

Fantastic second album from one of the most creative and respected punk band's of all time.

The Clash exploded in true punk style, they crashed from late 70's punk rock into the 80's and beyond, never compromising and ever changing while retaining their devoted and loyal fan base.

This quality second album from the people's band features a great selection of powerful songs and was a massive step up from their debut which suffered from poor production.

Give Em Enough Rope was pure Clash firing on all cylinders, the sound and songwriting was so on point, it was very powerful stuff back in the day and it still stands up now as a solid rock record, so it's an absolutely essential purchase, it's all here and then some, there was Punk, there was Music but above all that there was quite simply "THE CLASH"...!

This Dutch issue is quite different from its UK equivalent, firstly the CLASH lettering on the front is changed to a Bold Impact type face, unlike the oriental style type used on the UK issue, the song titles on the rear are also Jumbled up, JULIE'S BEEN WORKING FOR THE DRUG SQUAD is incorrectly listed as JULIE'S IN THE DRUG SQUAD and finally ALL THE YOUNG PUNK'S is listed completely incorrectly as THAT'S NO WAY TO SPEND YOUR YOUTH.

The sleeve is in excellent condition overall with minor edge / storage wear and the vinyl is looking excellent considering it's age so overall this is a nice addition to any collection of note.

A rare "vinyl" must have Clash album for any serious Clash / Punk rock record collector.
