Ondatropica, Minyo Cumbiero... Frente Cumbielo is the flagship project of Mario Galeano, who has been working on a series of high-profile projects from Bogota, the capital of Colombia, with the keyword "cumbia". After 10 years since "frente Cumbiero Meets MAD Professor", the new album is finally available in physical format! Recorded by the same members as their legendary first Japan gig in 2018. Nine instrumental numbers that combine cumbia, polo, gaita, jazz, electronica, and dub, and the tight, heavy quartet sound that has been developed over two and a half years of touring around the world! The band's guest is the legendary Conjunto Miramar, who has been active in Bogota since the 60's and has left many cumbia classics to the Discos Fuentes. The LP also includes an additional song, "Motines del Tigre", a collaboration with Argentine cumbia band LA Delio Valdez, which was not included on the digital version.
