David Bowie was a legendary cultural chameleon throughout his long and colorful career and always ahead of his time and that’s why I'm listing several of his LP's for Auction. This Limited Edition Half Speed Master vinyl LP is called The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and is the fifth studio album by the English musician David Bowie, released in 1972 through RCA Records. This album features Bowie's backing band the Spiders from Mars — Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Mick Woodmansey. Described as a loose concept album and rock opera, Ziggy Stardust is about Bowie's titular alter ego Ziggy Stardust, a fictional androgynous and bisexual rock star who is sent to Earth as a saviour before an impending apocalyptic disaster. The glam rock and proto-punk musical styles were influenced by Iggy Pop, the Velvet Underground and Marc Bolan. The lyrics discuss the artificiality of rock music, political issues, drug use, sexuality and stardom. This album features the hit single "Starman". Other great songs on here are  "Five Years"  , "Moonage Daydream" ,  "Ziggy Stardust" ,    "Suffragette City"  and  "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide" !

The Cover and inner Picture/Lyric insert are Excellent condition(see pictures), The Vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition(few tiny light scratches)!
