The Groove Sessions, Vol. 1 surveys the 2004-2007 output of Chinese Man, a trio of producers whose sound is rooted in hip-hop -- with boisterous breakbeats as the foundation -- while pulling from several styles, including reggae, Latin, Indian, and African music.
