Kiss - "Alive" (Casablanca 822 780-1). This is a 2008 repress of the 1975 LP by the group composed of Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss. Part of the 'Back To Black 60th Vinyl Anniversary' series, it is a remastered reissue audiophile pressing on 180 gram vinyl and includes an 8-page printed color insert. Same catalog number as the 1985 Polygram reissue,but the UPC barcode is in a different spot on the back of the jacket. Also has an address for Island/Def Jam record son the back jacket, and Camel labels on the lp's. Alive! is the fourth album overall, and the first live album, by American hard rock band Kiss. It is their breakthrough and a landmark for live albums. Released on September 10, 1975, the double-album contains live versions of selected tracks from their first three studio albums, Kiss, Hotter Than Hell and Dressed to Kill. It was recorded at concerts in Detroit, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; Wildwood, New Jersey; and Davenport, Iowa on May 16, June 21, July 20 and 23, 1975. Alive! peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 album charts, and charted for 110 weeks, by far the longest chart run in the band's history.
