THE DAMNED - PUNK SINGLES 1976 - 1977 - ORIGINAL 'ITALLIAN IMPORT' HEAVY 220g VINYL BOX SET.

Fantastic box set collection from one of the most mad and menacing punk band's of all time.

The Damned were originals, they just didn't care, in true punk style they crashed onto the late 70's punk scene with a line up made up of three misfits and a total looney, they crashed from pillar to post causing havoc and chaos wherever they went nothing and no one was safe when the Damned were around.

They released the first ever punk single New Rose, they split and reformed sometimes reforming before some band members even knew they had split up in the first place, mad gigs, mayhem and nudity followed but despite all the madness they never lost their fan base.

This import box set with iconic artwork was issued in 2004 it features the first five damned singles released on Stiff Records, reproduced in their original sleeves, even Don't Cry Wolf which was issued in a die cut sleeve has been made into a picture sleeve, a lot of care has been lavished on this box set.

Each single is pressed on very thick 220g vinyl for the best possible sound reproduction, each single has its own die cut anti static inner and a rich thick glossy sleeve, all five singles store neatly inside the thick quality glossy box.

This is a real luxury item to own, a box of madness overflowing with the raw sulphate soaked energy of the original band.

A rare and hard to find must have Italian import box set for any serious Damned or Punk rock collector.

Everything is in near mint condition, the whole set remains unplayed.
