THE RECORD

THE LABELS

THE  MATT BLACK LABELS ARE IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION. THE BLACK BASE COLOUR FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLES.

THE SILVER LOGO AND TYPEFACE WHICH IS OFTEN FOUND RUBBED AWAY IS IN PERFECT CONDITION , WITH EACH LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE PERFECTLY LEGIBLE

THERE ARE A SMALL CLUSTER OF SPIDER LINES, CLOSE TO THE SPINDLE HOLE.

THE VINYL

THE VINYL IS IN SUPERB CONDITION. IT GLEAMS LIKE IT WAS JUST PRESSED AND THERE IS NO FOGGING OR ANY MARKS  EITHER . EVEN WHEN PLACED UNDER A MAGNIFYING LED HALO THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE APART FROM A FEW VERY VERY WISPY HAIRLINES THAT ARE OTHERWISE INVISIBLE

THE TEST PLAY

I HOPE YOU AGREE THAT THE REPRODUCTION FROM THIS ALBUM IS JUST BRILLIANT. PURE FIRST PRESS AND THE DISC PLAYS MAGNIFICENTLY ALL THE WAY THROUGH. TRYING TO FIND A GREAT COPY OF THIS ALBUM IS VERY HARD  AND MOST COPIES ARE TRASHED WITH SLEEVES TO MATCH. HERE WE HAVE WHAT I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS A FAULTLESS PERFORMANCE.

THE FIRST THING TO NOTE IS THAT THE SOUND IS DISTORTION FREE APART FROM THE GUITAR WORK THAT SHOULD SOUND DISTORTED OF COURSE. THIS SHOWS THAT THE LP WAS PLAYED ON A SYSTEM THAT HAD A CORRECTLY TRACKED STYLUS, AND ONE THAT WASN'T DAMAGED OR WORN EITHER.

NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE

NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE

NO TICS OR POPS

THIS AUDIO EASILY GRADES MINT MINUS

PLEASE DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT HAVE A LISTEN AND JUDGE IT AGAINST YOUR OWN STANDARDS

THE SLEEVE

THE FRONT SURFACE IS FLAT AND CLEAN AND FREE FROM ANY MARKS OR STAINS. THE COLOUR HAS REMAINED UNRUBBED AND LOOKS SUPERB ALL OVER. NO HEAVY CREASES, CREASE LINES OR BENDS.
NO FADING OF THE COLOURS AT ALL

THERE ARE THREE SMALL PRESSURE LINES NEXT TO THE SPINE. NONE ALONG THE TOP EDGE, NONE ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND NONE THUMB LINE NEAR THE OPENING EDGE.

NO RING WEAR OR RECORD SHAPE

THE FOUR CORNERS HAVE A TINY BIT OF RUB AT THE TIP ENDS

THE TOP EDGES HAVE SOME LIGHT SHELF RUB AND A LITTLE ON THE CORNER TIPS

THE BOTTOM EDGES SLIGHTLY MORE

THE SPINE HAS ONE TINY SCUFF TO THE TOP LEADING EDGE NEAR THE BOTTOM. THE TOP AND BOTTOM TIPS ARE ALSO RUBBED. THE TYPEFACE HOWEVER IS ALL PERFECTLY LEGIBLE

THE  OPENING EDGE  HAS A LITTLE ROUGHNESS TO THE SURFACES

THE REAR SURFACE HAS THE VERY SLIGHTEST SHADOW OF RECORD SHAPE AND THE COLOURS ARE IN SUPERB ORIGINAL CONDITION. AGAIN JUST A COUPLE OF TINY LINES NEXT TO THE SPINE.

OPENING THE GATEFOLD REVEALS TWO PRISTINE INNER PANELS WITH A CREASE LINE NEAR THE INNER SPINE ON THE RIGHT SIDE

THE  POLYLINED INNER SLEEVE IS FLAT AND CLEAN . UNSPLIT AND UNCREASED. THERE IS SOME AGEING TO THE SEAMS. THE CORRECT DATE OF 1271 IS PRINTED IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER

THIS SLEEVE EASILY GRADES  EX+
