This is a first US pressing from the Scranton Columbia Records plant.  It was released on December 6, 1965.  It’s a notably heavy record (5.9 oz. = 167 grams).    The rainbow rim labels do not include the Beatles group name; the names of the four individual Beatles are printed.  The vinyl is in Very Good ++ condition. Play tested, the record plays perfectly.

The outer sleeve is in Very Good condition.  It shows spotty wear on the front and back covers but no ring wear.  All the writing on the spine is clearly readable.  The bottom edge is split 3.3 inches from the sleeve opening.  The top edge is split 3 inches from the spine.  (See photos).  The original inner sleeve is included; the record is now in a MoFi Master Sleeve.

This record is from my personal collection.  It was always stored vertically, well cared for, and played using audiophile quality equipment.

I will combine shipping for multiple albums purchased on the same day.

As was often the case with British and American releases of British bands at this time, the track list is not the same on US and UK releases.  This US pressing has 12 songs while the UK version of Rubber Soul has 14.  Four songs are on the UK version that are not on the US version and the US version has two that are not on the UK variant.
