One box EMI, 'THE PINK FLOYD' to labels
Labels are nice and clean, vinyl shiny with a number of light marks, one more obvious to side 2, pictured. Plays really well with only occasional light crackle at times
Sleeve looks great. Light browning to rear. Correct inner. See descriptions below.
Black label with silver text, white EMI logo in small rectangle at bottom, and white "Columbia" in large rectangle with lines on each side at top.
Text around the top edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says: The Gramophone Co., Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited.
Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 6 o'clock and says: Made in GT Britain. Sold in UK Subject To Resale Price Conditions. See Price List.
Front cover: "PINK FLOYD" at bottom ('The Pink Floyd' on labels). EMI logo in upper left corner. Laminated.
Rear cover is grey with Syd Barrett drawing with song titles and credits. Printed and Made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London (see picture). Flipback rear with "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups" in small print in the top right corner (see picture)
Inner sleeve: Maroon printing on cream coloured paper. On the front side is the EMI logo at the top centre, with "Add these outstanding LPs to your collection" at the top, 16 LP covers pictured in the middle including The Beatles-Sgt. Peppers, and "Remember-the new Emitex cleans and preserves your records," and "Patents applied for" at the bottom. On the back side is the EMI logo at the top centre with " - the greatest recording organization in the world" at the top, 16 LP covers pictured in the middle including Pink Floyd-Piper at the Gates of Dawn, and "E.M.I. Records (The Gramophone Company Ltd.) Hayes - Middlesex - England, Made and Printed in Great Britain" at the bottom.
