White Records and Giegling artist Edward was amongst the illustrious cast of artists commissioned to rework the iconic producer's music as part of the recent tribute Box-Set Who's That Man? His self styled 'Desert Mix' of "Farmer Gabriel" by Moebius, Plank and Thompson has now been licensed by Oskar Offermann's White imprint for this limited 12" release which features two further Edward reworks of Plank that you will only find here. The lead remix is a thing of wonder, stretching out into one languorous percussive number that doesn't need a kick drum to coax the listener into dancing. Face down, Edward offers two revisions of the Moebius and Plank number "Muffler A" which are more experimental in tone, relying on a droning bassline and liquidy breakbeat for forward momentum whilst running through all manner of tonal abstractions.
