This 1st press is on the custom EMI label. It is complete with the very earliest YAX 5355-1 / 5356-2 matrix, round corner die-cut inner sleeve and matt gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of very light wispy marks. The label is extremely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant.
The die-cut inner sleeve is extremely clean and bright. The red is exceptionally solid and the text is sharp. The edges are firm without any splits and the whole inner sleeve is solid.
The matt Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are vivid. There is just the slightest corner wear. The back and inside are also in superb condition. The whole sleeve has it original light sheen and is still extremely solid. The spine is extremely firm with clear text.
