Analogue OZ Reissue LP released in the 80's on Parlophone Records. Cat: PCSO3071.  

1965 soundtrack to the beatles second film. Notably an album very different from its predecessor Beatles For Sale, this is the group stepping away from their rock past and a slower, druggy sound emerges. Although Rubber Soul is considered the pot album, no one can deny the changing pace and vocal performances on the singles: "Ticket To Ride" and the title track. This album also sees a maturing lyrical style and a flourishing use of unusual arrangements away from the two guitars, bass and drums routine; electric piano, flutes and a string section on the immortal "Yesterday" show a group pushing their sound on.
