This is an UK 1st Press of ‘Fireball' by Deep Purple. This press is complete with the original gatefold textured Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, the earliest matrix with ‘PEK' engraved in the runout, the original Harvest polylined inner sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is extremely glossy and bright with just a couple of very light marks and a few very light wispy marks. The label is sensational. The colours are crisp and bright and there is no spindle wear, just a couple of very light spider marks. When played the sound is extremely bold and clear, with moments of slight noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point. It is rich and vibrant from start to finish.
The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is solid, the colours are vivid and the images are sharp. There is just the slightest edge and corner wear. The inside is superb, like new. The spine is very firm and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
