The Force Dimension were a late '80s industrial outfit who specialised in an EBM-flavoured kind of dance music. Throughout those years, the band put out a series of LP's and singles on the now defunct KK Records, and although they've been relatively overlooked in recent years, their sound is a fresh and provocative now as it must have been back then. This comprehensive compilation by Belgium's Minimal Maximal sheds light on their best and most pioneering productions, tracks which are drenched in a techno sensibility but go way beyond mere drum machine patterns. There's a whopping 43 tracks spread over one LP and a bonus CD, with the band's best tracks from the late 80's up to the early 90's. Harsh beats, steely percussion and raucous vocals culminate into some seriously powerful tools for the dancefloor.
