The Beatles vinyl 7" EP Twist and Shout GEP8882 rare 2nd press label error Ex+ audio 4 tracks

This record has been cleaned and played in full to be graded. Please contact me if you require any further details.

Matrix 7TCE762-2N / 7TCE763-1N

KT tax code is on the label on Side 2.

According to The Beatles Collection this is a 2nd pressing. You can read more here:-

2. Second pressing, 1964. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd…” printed at the start perimeter print and the publishing year printed as “Recording First Published 1963″ and with “SOLD IN U.K…”. With Sans-serif or Time New Roman print. Tax code KT. Matrix numbers: Side 1: 7TCE 762-2N, Side 2: 7TCE 763-1N.

This copy has the unusual misprint on the label on Side 2 as the first track is wrongly titled 'DO YOU WANT A KNOW A SECRET" instead of "DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET". I have read that it is thought that EMI soon realised the error when the EP first came out and quickly corrected it and as a result there are not many 1st pressing copies out there.....however this is 2nd pressing with the same misprint!

If you want me to add a MP3 to the listing please contact me.

I am selling other 7" EPs by The Beatles which came from the same collection. I combine P&P costs.

Grading system used:-

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or
defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
