This is the scarce 1st press of Songs From The Wood by Jethro Tull. This press is on the earliest green Chrysalis label and is complete with the earliest matrix and 10th SET text. The vinyl is in the rare original Jethro Tull custom advertising inner sleeve and the original light sheen sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of wear at all. There are just a couple of the lightest wispy marks. Every track looks superb. The Chrysalis label is completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation.
The printed advertising inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is just a little discolouration otherwise it is very solid and bright. The colour is bright and the edges are firm.
The sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colour is vivid. There is just the lightest corner wear. The whole sleeve has it original light sheen and is still extremely solid.
