The Beatles
Help!
1st Press (Lark Mus.)
Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES' 5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

LOVELY EARLY PRESSING HERE
Vinyl:
HEAVYWEIGHT 159g QUALITY
Lovely raw sound reproduction, with some background noise throughout.
There quite a few light marks to the vinyl..Which provides the background noise but it didn't ruin the enjoyment I had whilst listening to the record.
NO SKIPS OR STICKS
Still has the glorious sheen and is lovely and flat.
A gentle professional clean and I am sure she would sound better.
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN
Labels: VG. Lovely and clear... With many light spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light.
She is a lovely 1st Pressing
Central hole wear as can be seen in the images provided.
"KT" tax code to side 1.
Has the 1st type Sans Serf text.
Outer text "The Gramophone co.LTD"
DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Please see the detailed images provided....Click on them for larger images with more detail.
THE LABEL ALSO HAS THE CREDIT OF "LARK MUS." FOR TRACK 1, SIDE 2, RATHER THAN THE LATER PRINTING: "LARK MUSIC"
ALSO
Track 4, side 1 has the '*' AFTER the "I Need You Title" rather than the later printing, which put it BEFORE the song title.
SHOWING THIS TO BE THE VERY 1ST PRESSING
Cover: VG. A SOLID example.
Only a few small crescent of spidering to the laminate, with some little fingers of spidering eminating from the seams.
There is a patch of lifting to the laminate, in the top left corner.

Some rubbing to the corners.
STRONG Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS
ALSO HAS THE "PATENTS PENDING" STATEMENT TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER.
PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED AND READ MY HONEST FEEDBACK FOR TRUE GRADINGS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Inner: VG. It is a replacement PERIOD DECCA poly-lined inner.
NO WRITING
She has certainly kept this record in a wonderful condition.
SHE IS A FIRST PRESSING AND REMAINS A PIECE OF BEATLES HISTORY-PROVIDING A SOLID SOUND REPRODUCTION TOO.
