LOVELY SLAB OF VINYL & COVER


A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

VG+. Lovely heavy ORIGINAL vinyl.
The vinyl carries some light marks to her-nothing terrible
I have just finished listening to the whole album and was very happy with the audio reproduction.
Quiet run-ins and outs-With just gentle and occasional light background noise.
What is needed to improve her further is a very gentle professional clean.
NO JUMPS OR SKIPS
STILL retaining all is glory!

Labels: VG+ Lovely and clear. Only incredibly light spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
The central hole wear is really not worth mentioning at all.
Lovely, clear silver text.
No writing...TOP condition.

FRAME IT OR PLAY IT!


Cover: EX-. There are just a few small spidering points to the front and back laminate....Which really are only a  few small and light crescents of spidering near the opening and a tiny bend to the bottom right of the front gatefold.
The seams have some small fingers of spidering eminating from them.
The Corners have light rubbing/knocking.
NO writing.
EXCELLENT strong and clean WHITE inner flipbacks.
WONDERFULLY STRONG AND LEGIBLE SPINE
We all know how delicate this gatefold cover is and this little beauty has been incredibly well looked after throught it's life...
HEY, don't forget this was the FIRST ever produced gatefold!


Inner: EX-. "CBS" replacement inner....Which is rare in itself!
Certainly done her job by looking after this quality slab of vinyl.
