Devilishly rare Philly soul funk from 75: Santiago were a Mandrill off-shoot headed up by Neftali Santiago, they only released one official single and it was rumoured to have only been pressed a few thousand times. Which is crazy considering how beautifully funky these originals are: "Feeling Good" lives up to its name with such positivity, harmony and soulful band orchestration (including some of the most beautiful jazz flutes of the era). "Land Of The Leaping No", meanwhile, is a raw carnal funk jam that's as sweet and sweaty as the original pressings are expensive.
