This is the 3rd mono pressing which were the first ones produced on the black and yellow label. This was a short lived pressing before the more standard 4th pressing was produced and consequently this copy doesn't have the "Recording first published 1963" on the label.
This record has been cleaned and test played in full to be graded. Please contact me if you require any further details.

Please Please Me vinyl lp. Vinyl is Side 1 Excellent / Side 2 Fair. The vinyl is quite glossy with a number of light surface marks on both sides. The previous owner has written his initials in pen on the label. This is a strange one as this lp plays to a standard Excellent grade throughout EXCEPT for a jump a third of the way through PS I Love You. There's no obvious surface mark which is causing it either so it's just as well I played it in full. There's very little background crackle audible between tracks so the jump is rather disappointing.
Ernest J Day & Co flipback Sleeve is Good-. There is a 11cm tear along the bottom flipback on the rear. There is also a 2cm tear at the top and some blue pen marks on the rear. There are more minor imperfections eg scuffed edges and creasing. The spine is fully legible. No spine splits. The inner is a white polylined 'Important..' paper inner sleeve with a 6cm split from the opening.
If you want me to add a MP3 to the listing please contact me.
Summary:- Reasonably rare 3rd mono which all for one jump(!) plays excellently.
This has been cleaned on a Okki Nokki RCM FREE for the buyer.
Grading system used:-
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or
defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
