Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks
Label & year : Original CBS S 69097 LP , UK Stereo 1974 ULTRA RARE 1st Press
Matrix's : Side A : CBS-S-69097-A2 , Side B : CBS-S-69097-B2 EARLIEST EVER
BARELY PLAYED WITH ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AUDIO!!! ULTRA HARD TO FIND A TRUE DAY-OF-RELEASE 1ST PRESS OF THIS CLASSIC ALBUM IN SUCH OUTSTANDING CONDITION!!! THIS WAS REISSUED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY ON THE MID 70'S CBS SUNFADE LABELS!!! EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESS, ESPECIALLY ONE AS SCARCELY PLAYED AS THIS!!! YOU CAN EASILY COUNT THE NUMBER OF PLAYS THIS HAS HAD ON THE ONE HAND!!! OUTSTANDING CONDITION!!!
The LP :
Labels :
Classic UK 1st Press Orange CBS labels!!! Both sides are AMAZING with NO signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has an absolute MINISCULE amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has been played once or twice at the very most!!! INCREDIBLE for a 42 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Near Mint!!!
Record : Visual -
Spectacular Original 1974 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks ASTONISHING with NO nasty marks, NO vicious scuffs OR scratches, NO fingerprints, and NO groovewear whatsoever!!! The only blemishes off perfection are just a few ultra light, wispy sleeve traces/cleaning lines (only just about visible in mega strong angled light) from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, NONE of these ULTRA light blemishes interfere with play AT ALL!!! UNBELIEVABLE for a record of this age and rarity!!! This is EASILY the VERY BEST i've ever seen!!! You'll be amazed by how clean and unworn it is!!! Must grade overall visually at least as Excellent!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Record : Audio -
Thankfully, it plays AMAZINGLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, skips OR sticks!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has just a small amount of ultra light ticks on very rare occasions, and possibly just the MEREST TOUCH of low level static in the rarest few and far between places such as on the run in grooves and between some tracks, but that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast, majority of the music is TRULY crystal clear - It really does play with a CD-like near 100% black silence, but with that bass, depth, clarity and warmth you can only get from original UK vinyl!!! EVEN the vast majority of the quiet sections!!! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at least as Excellent+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Sleeve :
Original 1974 UK 1st Press unlaminated "Shorewood" sleeve complete with original UNSPLIT inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO tears, NO dulling or discolouration, NO writing, NO graffiti, NO splits, NO half moons, NO seam wear, NO bad marks AT ALL, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! This sleeve only has a TINY amount of ULTRA light signs of ageing such as just a miniscule amount of ultra light edge creases and the merest ghost of a record imprint, literally one or two incredibly light general storage indents under ultra strong angled light (being extremely picky here, virtually nothing), a touch of denting to the four corners which virtually ALL vintage sleeves have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can possibly find, but this is a PHENOMENAL sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as incredible as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Excellent+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Grading
My vinyl record gradings based on the UK Record Collector Rare Price Guide.
I want you to be delighted with your record. It is of no
value to you or to me to knowingly grade incorrectly.
Vinyl
Near Mint (NM)
The record has been on a shelf
between other records.
The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been
played a few times
. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole
package is complete.
Excellent (E)
Same but I’d tolerate very light
marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few
times, or tiny signs of use generally.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
A few further faults are
acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or
audibly.
A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background
crackle.
Very Good (VG)
It’s seen a bit of life, but is
still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible
scratches.
You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is
visually and audibly USED..
Nothing will be offered for sale below Very Good.
