1940's 78RPM disc by Humphrey Lyttelton & His Band on the A.S.I.C.O./Saturn Label (EGX 184)
Matrix numbers: Melancholy Blues side: RPL 115 A (stamped) and RPL115AFP (engraved), Blues for Waterloo side: RPL 309 A (stamped) and RPL309AFP (engraved).
Melancholy Blues on one side, Blues For Waterloo on the other.
This is a heavy, 78rpm shellac record. It will be well packed and sent by insured carrier.
Now
the boring but IMPORTANT bit: This is a vinyl record, not a CD. If you
try to play it on a CD player or iPod then Neptune will collide with
Uranus resulting in the total destruction of our Solar System. This
would be frowned upon by the Intergalactic Music Police so please don't
do it!
Seriously though, please ensure you can play this record
before bidding as I will NOT accept returns due to incompatibility.
Also, I can not be held responsible for items lost in the post unless
they are sent by recorded or registered post. In my experience it is
very rare for items to be lost in the post but it can happen. I always
obtain a certificate of postage which is needed for any claim against
Royal Mail for loss or damage.
