What's that, you say, another Robert Pollard album? Wasn't it only ten minutes since the last one? Yea verily, in between taking out the rubbish and having a nightcap, the Guided By Voices legend has found the time to form another band with returned bandmate Doug Gillard, and released another cast-iron collection of life-affirming and timeless rock songs. Moreover, the only thing more startling than this man's workrate is his ability to deliver the goods in a manner brimming over with melodious acumen, good cheer and sly lyrical conceits. Don't ever take this fella for granted or sleep on one of his records, even if there's probably already another one on the way.
