Classic Aretha album produced by JERRY WEXLER and engineered by TOM DOWD. Side Two track “Good to Me As I Am to You represents Eric Clapton’s first official American recording session as a “famous guest guitarist” lending his skills—and, to some degree, his name—to someone else’s recording. That’s Clapton’s guitar—we assume it’s a Gibson of some sort—in the left speaker. Other musicians on the album include Bobby Womack, Joe South and Jimmy Johnson (guitar), King Curtis (sax), Spooner Oldham (organ), Tommy Cogbill (bass) and Roger Hawkins (drums). Stellar!!

Original Blue & Green ATCO label, SD-8176 STEREO. Shrink Torn at upper corner and a smaller shrink tear at bottom. A few light yellowing spots on rear under shrink, couple of sm creases at bottom front corner near spine. no splits. Matrix/Runout ST-A 681207-AA and ST-A 681208-AA. AT / LW (Atco/Longwear Plating) scrawled in Dead Wax each side along with tiny circle/moon? Triangle Symbol + 11523 / 11523x on each runout as well.

(very minor wear but should sound great/well cared for) VG+ = "Very Good Plus" (slightly above average, light visible wear) VG = "Very Good" (average, scuffs & shelf wear, still a very enjoyable listen) G = "Good"(scratches; visible marks and wear.
