Gary Young & Rocking Emues~Orig OZ Promo ST LP EX 1982 Blues rock Daddy Cool  Yes Yesshows

Original Japanese 2XLP released in 1980 on Atlantic Records. Cat: P5565. This album has a gatefold sleeve. Comes with lyric insert which is in Excellent condition.

Starting out playing drums, Young formed his first band in high school during the early '60s, the Fenders, followed by the Silhouettes, which later became the Lincolns. With the addition of singer Bob Johnson, the Lincolns became popular around Melbourne; nevertheless, Young decided to leave the band in 1965 to form the duo Double Trouble with Issy Di. They quickly folded and his next outing was with the Rendells, the backing outfit for Bobby & Laurie, and they toured until their breakup in 1967. Young briefly joined Changing Times before joining the Laurie Allen Revue. They released several singles before Bobby & Laurie reunited in 1969 and Young took up with Melbourne R&B-jazz band the Ram Jam Big Band, appearing on their final single, "Lost and Found," released in May 1969. After forming the short-lived band Turnstile at the end of 1969, Young became a member of Ross Wilson's and Ross Hannaford's part-time progressive rock project Sons of the Vegetal Mother which led to the influential Daddy Cool.

Record has some light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear, a small sticker stain on front top centre edge and some tiny surface tears around edges. Cover is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
