The Hathaway-style spoken word on "Rich Man Poor Man", the hip-swinging walking blues bassline and swooning harmonies of "Can You Say Yeah?", the grainy organ blasts and rattling snare on "One Day In Paradise" and the overwhelming drive of "None Greater Than John", the whole album is a serious work of beauty and soul.
