Rare original OZ 45” released in 1963 on RG Records. Cat: RG496.  

Jimmy Hannan is a Gold Logie-winning Australian variety show host, singer and entertainer and game show host. One of the pioneers of television, Hannan won the 1965 Gold Logie award. Recorded in November 1963, Festival Studio, Sydney on R G Records. Backing vocals were by Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. The young writer of "Beach Ball" Jim McGuinn later founded the California harmony rock group the Byrds, where he was also known as Roger McGuinn. The Bee Gees were uncredited as backup singers - they also do some talking in the background to build up the party atmosphere on 'Beach Ball'Recorded in November 1963, Festival Studio, Sydney on R G Records. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause a few light crackles throughout and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
