Two beautiful compositions from the eponymous debut album'70s New York fusionists Tarika Blue's, never previously released on 45. Props to Athens From The North must be given once again!! "Truth Is The Key" is an ageless swinging jazz piece that still sounds futureproofed to this day... Largely thanks to the pristine musicianship, Irene Datcher's vocals and the liquid soul arp solo. Few tracks live up their name as much as "Dreamflower". Spacey, somnambulant and laced in swooning dynamics, it's not hard to understand why the likes of Erykah Badu sampled this one.
