Pressed in Holland and released on Philips Digital Classics 420 186-1.

 

Play grades as EX-/EX-.

 

On both sides all musical passages play clearly & brightly.

 

There are no sticks, jumps or skips.  However there is a little brief & quiet background noise in a couple of places on each side. Also there is a light surface scratch, about 0.5 cm. long just after the start of band 2, which causes a tic that repeats throughout it's length.

 

When tilted under normal lighting, as well as the scratch mentioned above there are two more small, surface scratches which are both non-sounding. On side 2 there is also a non-sounding scratch about 2 cm. long towards the end of the side at about 6 o'clock.

 

When tilted under halogen lights both sides appear to have no more marks visible.

 

Sleeve grades as EX-.

 

There are a few edge cracks and a small crease in the front, top right corner.

 

Poly-lined plain white inner sleeve grades as EX.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

 

 

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

 

 

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

 

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

 

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

 

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

 

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

 

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

 

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1 working day of receipt of payment.
