Another of my personal records, this is The Only Ones 1979 LP Even Serpents Shine, on CBS 583451, making it a UK 1st pressing.
Deadwax runout grooves read as follows. Side 1. CBS 5 83451 A2 Side 2. CBS 5 83451 B1
Please note I always play my records through so I can grade them properly.
Labels on both sides are very clean, with no spindle marks on either side. The vinyl is a nice glossy black & I can find no marks scuffs or scratches even under strong light. Intro grooves are virtually silent with no clicks, pops or crackling. The low noise floor continues through the LP, sound quality is superb & there are no clicks, pops, jumps or skips on either side. I grade the LP as Ex.
The cover is fully laminated & features gold leaf designs, the band name on the front & a serpent on the rear, that are still vibrant with no loss of colour at all. There is a little ringwear on the rear only, which is the only slight negative. The spine is intact & easily read, & there are no rips, tears, creases, stains writing or sticker marks. I grade the cover as Ex.
 I have always kept my records clean, but before I sell them I always clean them with my VPI RCM & put the record in a new anti-static inner sleeve, & the cover in a new cover also.
I always insure my items for their full value & do not make any money on postage.
