Another from my own collection, this is the Saints with This Perfect Day/Lies, from 1977 on the Harvest Record label, cat. no. 12 HAR 5130, making this a rare 12 inch extended edition and a UK 1st pressing. Deadwax runout grooves read as follows. Side 1. 12 HAR 5130 A-1 Side 2. 12 HAR 5130 B-1 I always play my records through in order to give an accurate grade. Visually the (A) side looks great with no marks I can see. There are a couple of scuffs on the (B) side that cover the majority of the grooves, but during playback these cannot be heard whatsoever I am happy to confirm. There is no noise worth mention on the (A) side either, it plays and tracks very well, a little bit of noise on the intro/outro grooves but very minor and doesn't intrude on the music. There is a total absence of pops, clicks, jumps or skips. I grade the record as Ex-. The outer sleeve is die-cut cardboard and quite thick so other than a little bit of normal wear and tear from handling it is still in good shape. There is a factory sticker on the front declaring "Due to an admin error this record contains a third track not available on the 7 inch version. This addition, "Do The Robot" has been withdrawn from other issues and is only available on this 12 inch record." I grade the cover VG+. I have always kept my records clean, and before I sell them I clean them on my VPI RCM and pop them in a new anti-static inner. My items are also fully insured for the correct value, I make no money on postage and packing costs. Collection from BH12 near Bournemouth is always welcome.
