PINK FLOYD - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - LP GATEFOLD - HARVEST #SMAS-11163 - 1973/1975
Original American LP re-release on Harvest with custom black labels. Their 8th album originally released in 1973, this is the 1975 reissue with "mfd. by Capitol Records, Inc..." in rim text of labels (starting at the 10 o'clock position). Winchester pressing with "rifle" etching in dead wax. Comes with only one poster and only one sticker (poster is of the band, and the sticker is the olive green and blue sticker). The poster is in great shape with light signs of handling, the sticker has an inch long tear on the right edge and has some bends.
Grading...
Vinyl: VG (one scratch on side 2 during "Us And Them" that causes an audible pop for several rotations, otherwise record only has superficial hairline scratches and plays fine)
OUR VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: (record & cover are graded separately in each listing)
SEALED (NEW) ... Never opened, still sealed, presumed mint vinyl.
NM (NEAR MINT) ... The highest grading used for an opened record. Practically mint, no major flaws if any flaws at all.
VG+/NM (VERY GOOD PLUS TO NEAR MINT) ... Better than VG+ but not quite NM.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) ... A great looking record with perhaps a few small imperfections such as superficial hairline scratches only--nothing deep. Cover with a small crease or slight ring formation, nothing hideous, may have a name written on the cover in small print, spine is intact, no splits, no tears, etc.
VG/VG+ (VERY GOOD TO VERY GOOD PLUS) ... Better than VG but not quite VG+
VG (VERY GOOD) ... A record with obvious use but not abused. Visible light scratches, no skips, plays fine with some soft surface noise (crackles and pops). Cover may have a small split, a light visible ring, rounded corners or a few obvious creases, some writing on the cover.
VG-/VG (VERY GOOD MINUS TO VERY GOOD) ... Better than VG- but not quite VG.
VG- (VERY GOOD MINUS) ... A fairly well-used record that still plays through without skips, some mildly distracting surface noise such as audible clicks and louder pops, and several visible imperfections. Cover will have several splits, light water damage, several creases, damaged corners, large areas of graffiti, or spine is peeling in areas.
G/VG- (GOOD TO VERY GOOD MINUS) ... Better than G but not quite VG-
G (GOOD) ... Pretty much a filler copy, scratched to hell, may have a skip, lots of background noise like loud clicks, maybe a little warped. Cover is damaged beyond belief. (We will not be selling records in this condition unless it is a VERY rare and sought-after record, or included in a large lot for a low price, so don't expect to see anything graded "GOOD" very often).

SHIPPING WITHIN THE USA IS FREE ON MEDIA AND FIRST CLASS SHIPPED ITEMS.
Methods of shipping we use for domestic buyers:
MEDIA ITEMS (records, books, cd’s, tapes, etc): FIRST CLASS if 8 oz. or under, MEDIA MAIL if over 8 oz. (LP's never weigh below 8 oz, so they always ship media mail)
ITEMS WEIGHING UNDER 13 oz will always ship FIRST CLASS (unless it's a media item, then we'll use the cheapest method).
ITEMS WEIGHING OVER 13 oz will usually ship PARCEL POST unless they fit nicely into a PRIORITY MAIL flat rate box… and if so, they will be shipped using PRIORITY MAIL.
We will use other methods of shipping by request if requested BEFORE you finalize your payment. Please take note that we may charge you for the extra amount if you happen to request a more expensive shipping method.
All packages are shipped with USPS tracking. If you’re wondering where your package is, there’s no need to contact us, just view your transaction page on eBay and you can track your package there.
