JETHRO TULL - The Chateau d'Heronville Sessions - The Unreleased 1972 Album 2LP
Limited to 500 copies, double black vinyl (112 minutes) released in beautiful, laminated cover with some fine memorabilia and cool pictures of the band. This is unreleased August 1972 studio material recorded between 'Thick As A Brick' and 'A Passion Play' albums, but abandoned just before the finish. 11-minute 'Chateau d'Isaster Tapes' track was released previously on 20 Years Of Jethro Tull 5LP box in 1988. 50 minutes of this material (with some flute overdubs) were released on double CD 'Nightcap' in 1993. All 58 minutes were lately remixed by Steven Wilson and added to deluxe versions of Benefit 2CD Box. This double album CONTAINS BOTH VERSIONS! Ian Anderson's 1988 mix (with overdubs - sounds great) and Steven Wilson 2014 mix(with no overdubs - sounds more raw, more rock-ish). The sound quality is great! PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED ON VINYL!
