Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group's break-up. Like most of the band's previous releases, it was a number one album in many countries, including both the US and the UK, and was released in tandem with the motion picture of the same name. The album was conceived as Get Back, a return to the Beatles' earlier, less complicated approach to music. It was recorded and projected for release before their album Abbey Road (1969). For this reason, some critics and fans, such as Mark Lewisohn, argue that Abbey Road should be considered the group's final album and Let It Be the penultimate......

W-O-W! What a slab of vinyl! I have just given her a gentle professional clean and the shine which comes from her is alluring to say the least :)
Following the gentle clean with the Pro-Ject VC-S MkII Vacuum Record cleaner, I listened to her, all the way through-on my Focus One deck, with a new Audio Technica stylus...Simply put: MAGICAL!
The peaks and troughs were fabulously clear...I hear all sorts or arrangements I hadn't heard before and I have been dealing with vinyl for 13 years now! (two sniffs just before the start of track 2, side 1 by John...was one of them).
I could gush on, but I think you get the message-SUPERB!

The Labels:

As with the audio...these labels are barely touched and I couldn't even see a spindle mark.
Beautifully rich in colour too.
Frame this beauty.

The Cover:

1st Press GATEFOLD cover, made from solid heavyweight card. Not at all flimsy.
The central image is pasted in.
The corners are still as sharp today as they were back when it was made in 1970.
There is only slight evidence of light rubbing to the back-around the outline of where the record has been stored for the last 48 years...Very light-please see the detailed images for yourselves.

The Inner:
!NEAR MINT!
It is the ORIGINAL inner, with the two windows and being plain white (just off-white) in colour.
SIMPLY SUPERB CONDITION.
One tiny nick to one side of one of the windows-nothing at all to worry about.

SO....W-O-W! I AM REALLY TEMPTED TO KEEP THIS COPY AS THE AUDIO IS SIMPLY SUBLIME AS IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE.
THIS COPY WILL SIT AT THE TOP OF ANY COLLECTION.
