The TROJAN label was born in the UK in 1968, with the name coming from the Trojan lorry, built in Croydon and used to carry around the sound system of Duke Reid, over in Jamaica.
I have a selection of ORIGINAL TROJAN 7" Reggae singles up for sale.
PLAY THEM, THEN FRAME THEM.
They have been taken to parties and played-as they should-so there are light marks to the records and playback with some background noise....I think this adds to the authenticity as it's not terrible at all...Turned up, it still makes you want to move :)
This one has very little background noise at all.
